Roku 3 menu lag!

I'm using the Roku 3 from the first day it was released. The new Roku 3 is a good product, does what it is supposed to be. My complaint about the product is the main software (menu), after a few days the menu seems to get a little bit of a chop or lag to it, a power cycle makes this go away but only for a few days so every week I have to power cycle this Roku. Funny thing is, I also own a Roku 2 and ever since the May 2013 update (new menu) it does the same thing. There is a serious issue programmed into the menu.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design

I'd say my favorite improvement of the Roku is the way in which the buffering of the movie/tv show has been improved.. With the older Roku, instead of waiting for what seems up to a minute for the waiting bar to complete across the screen, before the movie starts, instead with the Roku 3, the movie starts pretty much immediately, and then it continues to buffer and all you're waiting for is for the picture quality to complete its buffering, but you're watching the show immediately and not caring about the initial graininess (lasts about 45 seconds or less). The menu is great, the remote was deifnitely improved.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Attractive Design
Cons: Have 2 Reset Unit Smtimes

HELP! Are we doing something wrong?

Maybe we're doing something wrong, and if so we would love to know! We love watching Netflix on our Roku, but we have already been back to the store twice! The batteries in the remote last a few days, a week at the outside. And when we do get the batteries to work, the Roku will not "wake up"! Each time we use it (about once or twice a week), we have to unplug the box to get it to reboot. I should mention that we are on the second unit -- we exchanged the first one, but the problems are the same. Other than these two pain points, we do love it. Can someone help us?

Cons: Batteries Only Last Days, Roku Won't Wake Up

Powerful little box

I'm very pleased with my Roku purchase. The Roku bridges the gap between 'regular' HDTVs and 'smart' TVs and their associated applications. One criticism is that not all apps/channels seem to work properly, although I've narrowed it down to an issue with the app provider, and not with the Roku device or service. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Fast Setup, Sleek Design, Attractive Design, Simple Controls

Great with one exception

My only exception to this being the perfect little entertainment device, is that the ok/enter button is not in the center of the navigation buttons. Most other devices have it in the center and is what I am used to. Other than that it works great.
