Good bye satellite!!!

This is my first Roku. I plan on getting another for the second TV. I will be getting Hula Plus and have local over the air TV and will save $91 a month. What more can I say. It pays for itself.

I DO NOT regret finally ridding my home of high priced, useless cable. With my new ROKU, I get to select what I want to watch. The only thing I do miss, is not having availability to current programs. Some channels require a fee in order to view. It is still far cheaper than cable television. Interestingly enough, the picture quality exceeds cables by far. I also purchased a simple rabbit ears antenna to receive regular channels, like 5, 7, 9 and 13. Keep in mind, you will still need internet connection in order to use your ROKU, but that's it.

I love Roku ..especially Roku 3.. with the ability to play games and the earphone feature and tons of channels I saved so much money by not getting a smart T but instead buying a regular TV and Roku ..I have never had any issues and it always works flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Generally easy to use, but it is very time consuming using the virtual keyboard when setting up internet, subscription services, etc.

We bought two Roku 3 units when we dropped our cable TV option and have no regrets at all! We have one smart TV which really doesn't have as many apps as the Roku so I may add one to that TV also. The remote is great also.

We love this item I'm glad we bought the 3 , the only thing I wish is that the movies that we do want to rent from say RED BOX wouldn't cost this much to rent say 3.99 and up ,when you can go to the RED BOX and rent for 1.20 that's about my main concern ,,,,we do love it . There are a lot of free movies out there but were still getting used to how it works.
