I really can't find any thing bad to say about Roku 3. Love the way it works.

The one thing that my wife and I wish were better was the search interface. It's a real pain to use the arrow keys to input a search.
Pros: Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Faster Response Time, Interface Is Better

I use primarily for Netflix and Amazon Prime. Easy to use and quick. I like the controller and the ability to use a phone/tablet as remote. However, the controller goes through batteries quickly. Also, the controller will frequently stop working and I will need to reset the Roku and re-pair the controller with the Roku (the pairing process takes too long).
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: Finicky remote, Remote Pairing Finicky

The device has frozen only one time in nearly 2 months, and it was easily re-set by unplugging and re-plugging it into an outlet. it outperforms my previous streaming device (Blu-Ray DVD player with apps)--no contest. Variety of apps from Roku is admirable, though a YouTube channel would be appreciated. I couldn't be more pleased with the Roku 3.

We have no cable and 2 TV's and now 2 Roku's. We used to have only a Roku, and a Mac Mini hooked up to the other TV, but the Roku interface and apps made us get another. It's nice to be able to control the TV from 10' away. I do wish that their remote could do some basic things that ALL OTHER remotes can do, like turn the TV on and off, and control the volume of the TV, or at least control the volume of the stream.
Pros: Remote Headphones, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Great Speed, Fast Setup, Great Ui
Cons: Still Need Tv Remote, No remote volume control

I use Roku 3 for tv episodes and streaming movies from Amazon, Netflix Etc. It is functioning with little drops the only issue I have is every once in a while it freezes up

Great HTPC replacement with a few quirks

Great replacement for an aging XBMC computer. In combination with the Plex app, an ideal home media device. Lacks DTS and full MKV support, which I can work around but are surprisingly lacking.
Pros: Attractive Design, Great Mp4 Support, Fast Setup, Plex Client, Simple Controls
Cons: No Dts Support, Limited Mkv Support
