I really like the product, just wish the device had some meatier hardware, more RAM would be schweet and a better processor would help. I feel that with multiple devices on the network the buffer runs out which for $250 is a real downer. I suppose if I had just one device it wouldn't be so bad. Oh yeah and there aren't as many channels as it advertises and you have to buy some of the better ones as you go.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Occasional Errors, Random reboots

I use this device on a daily basis since I disconnected my cable account. I've added channels that are really useful for my viewing pleasure. My son enjoys the movies and cartoons also.

The Roku and our 6 year-old TV do not play well together. Everytime you switch to HDMI the Roku will send you an error message with a pink screen indicating you are not permitted access. So, each time you want to use the Roku you have to pull the plug and replace it, triggering a hard re-set. Cumbersome, time-consuming, and a big disappointment. We checked on the web and this is an ongoing problem for others as well...clearly a design flaw.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Attractive Design
Cons: Difficult setup, Poor Design

Apple TV allows personalized images on screen saver while listening to iTunes music. Roku allows only one or the other at a time.
Pros: Netflix Hulu Plus, Simple Controls, Scene Rewind On Remote, Headphones, Amazon Prime, Good remote

I have two. I use them both wirelessly. Mainly for Netflix and Plex, but other channels once in a while as well (Subsonic, Hulu, Flixter). Great product, i'm glad i have my devices. After long usage UI sometimes gets sluggish, a restart fixes it though.

Love the picture quality and ease of use. Needs improvements. Currently web browsing and YouTube are not available on Roku.
