Everything it does, my computer can do. It will run your thumb, or ext hard drive. Every click, it wanted money.
Pros: Fast Setup
Cons: Does Not Improve Audio/Video

I have 4 Roku devices & I like them all it has many channels to select from all kinds of data for many different tastes. I have given my opinion to my club members & many have purchased the roku. I have given the Roku as gifts it makes a great gift something they will remember you by.
Pros: Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Fast Setup

We got our roku 3 as an experiment to see if we can cut the cord to cable. Well it was more than we expected. It is GREAT... I am an Amazon Prime member so we use their channel the most. All our other channels are free and the program choices are in the thousands. Wish they had free local TV channels with advertising like if we had an antenna so we didn't have to leave ROKU.
Pros: Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Hundreds of channels, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Thousands Of Programs
Cons: No Easy Access To Youtube, No Keyboard on remote

Great selection of titles. The headphone jack on the remote is kind of awesome.

Great little box that replaced my HTPC

Great little box that consumes MUCH LESS power than my the HTPC it replaced. I now have all my media in a central location, but thanks to Roku and the Plex app I can stream all my media and feel good about lowering the electric bill. It's super easy to set up and requires no maintenance. I also own a Roku 2 XS and although they now share the same interface, I feel the Roku 3 is much more fast and fluid.
Pros: Quicker Than Roku 2, Energy efficient, Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Won't Make Me A Sammich

Exceeds my expectations

I use this for streaming, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Acorn Online. In that I have a good high speed Internet signal, the shows are great HD where available, never a stutter or dropout and high quality sound. The system exceeds every expectation of it and I am very happy with it.
