Awesome except one annoying thing

Love the speed, sleek form. However, I take my Roku to other places. I then have to set up the network each time I move it. My old one used to maintain the settings and remember the network when I went back to it.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: Network Type Wont Stick

Roku 3 is a vast improvement over the HD I had for the last year or so. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that I use the headset function quite a bit and it eats batteries. I would still buy Roku 3 in a heartbeat. DM

I LOVE the Roku 3. It does everything, and incredibly well. It's virtually flawless. Do not misunderstand, I recommend this product 1000000%. The only issues it has are the interface, while it's pretty and perfect for 99% of customers, if you're that 1% and you try to edit the display and tailor it to your needs... you basically can't. I have over 1000 movies, and they all display as a HUGE "list" going left to right. I would love to Grid them, but you cant. I have TV shows, like the Simpsons, 20+ seasons and I would LOVEEE an option to play a 'random' episode before bed and be surprised, but you can't. Also, when you point to a TV show and let it idle, the roku3 gives you a little preview of the themesong.... at INSANELY loud volumes, often 2x louder than the actual show once you hit play. There's no way to turn this off, lower the volume of the feature, or otherwise (that I can find anywhere). These types of all-encompassing display options are distracting at best, but really are the final hurdle for this phenomenally useful and well-built device!
Pros: Excellent, Versatile, Attractive Design, Fast
Cons: Very Few Display Options

I love being able to binge watch TV shows on Hulu or Netflix. I got rid of cable, pay for HS internet and those two channels. Haven't explored much else with Roku, but I also like how I can listen to it in my headphones rather than blaring it in the early morning. Why doesn't everyone have one of these yet?
