This product helped me cut the cord and with the audio output via the remote, I was able to set up my Roku for my ad hoc home theatre with video separate from my audio speakers/

Purchased my first one because my PS3 died and wanted my Netflix back. I was setup in 10 minutes. I LOVE the headphone feature - I can keep watching TV in bed without disturbing my wife. I then purchased 2 others and buy them as my default gift.

I use Roku to watch movies and TV on Netflix and Amazon Prime. I had one of the original Roku boxes, and traded up to Roku 3. Better pictures, faster, and I love that I can now get subtitles and can use headphones.
Pros: Headphone Jack, Subtitles, Improved Audio/Video

Very easy to set up and use, can't believe we didn't get one of these sooner! Still need to explore what is out there beyond Netflix but for now this is way better that paying for cable service that gives you lots of channels with nothing of interest to watch.

Worth Every Penny

I purchased the Roku box in May after a barrage of advertising. SOOO glad I did. This device is a gem at 99.00. The interface is smooth and easy to use and it offers a solid variety of apps to choose programming. I love my Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and Google Picasa all in one place. It's fast and never freezes and I can leave my shows paused for ages without it turning off. There are a couple of issues -- I had to return the first one because the remote kept losing connection with the box and when you're in bed getting out of bed to reset the box is VERY annoying. The other thing is it should have a keyboard that flips open from the remote. The on screen keyboard can be cumbersome BUT the PREDICTIVE text and search is top notch so it's not soo bad. I would definitely recommend buying one and can't wait for the Roku 4.

Love having the option of using the ear buds through the controller for private listening. Roku 3 streams faster than our Roku 2.....better quality picture.
