I Love the Roku 3!

I love the whole Roku experience. I'm a huge Apple fan and have a couple of Apple Tv's as well. I actually prefer Roku to my Apple Tv's. It's a better user experience, more flexible and very fast to set up and get going.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup

Roku is the cord cutters scissors. It crushes all other settops for overall content, and the Roku 3 model earphone jack in the remote is simply a brilliant jump in functional simplicity.

I run Plex on Linux on a fileserver upstairs and bought a Roku 3 to stream to my living room down stairs. I tried with XBox360 and a Sony Bluray player, all just had a terrible interfaces and often had problems playing the streams. I bought the Roku 3 on a whim, because a friend told me how well it works and thought I would like it more then spending the money on a Mac Mini for the living room. Oh-Em-Gee, plug and play! I literally, plugged in power turned on the receiver and gave it the password to join my wifi. Done. Everything is beautiful and simple. My wife and I both feel the Roku is a better interface for Netflix than any of the other devices we have too. Thanks Roku!

ROKU 3 WOULD BE PERFECT IF NOT FOR THE FACT THAT THE REMOTE WILL NOT STAY PAIRED TO THE UNIT. IN ORDER TO GET IT TO PAIR AGAIN I HAVE TO UNPLUG AND PLUG BACK IN TO REBOOT. WOULD LIKE AN ON OFF BUTTON AND A REGULAR REMOTE OR THE OPTION TO USE A UNIVERSAL REMOTE.

Wish Roku came with more channels like ABC, TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, Science, Food Network, and other cable channgles, because I would LOVE to get rid of my cable/paid channels.
