Greatest Little Device I Use

I replaced a failed Roku 2 (lightning strike) with the 3 and am thrilled I did.

ROKU allows people to have access to non mainstream TV for free. I purchased it as a way to cut my overall cable bill and that did not happen. You still have to pay for HULU VUDU Netflix etc. and I can't afford it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good changes compared to basic Roku. I don't like that unit display will go 3 blips every other second. Could not find how to disengage. I don't like that you cannot turn off light. There are too many devices using energy with on lights. I don't like movies don't always show actors or year. I like very much headphone input. Speed downloading is a big improvement. Long tail is handy.

I have purchased every Roku and they just keep getting better. As soon as they become voice-activated, I will have all the features that make this product so good.

The sound does not work. I have had the Roku about 3 months - I was ill and hadn't used it for a while. What do I do about the sound?

Nifty little gadget

Got a working unit about 4 weeks ago. 2 weeks prior to that my first unit was DoA. Roku was prompt in replacing it. However I had to pay for shipping the DoA unit! The functional unit was quite easy to set up and use. Has been reliable since.
