It's nice to get something that works properly and exactly as it's supposed to. This is a great device. I especially like the fact that the remote is not a line of sight remote and that I can use the earphones that are included with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am disappointed that I can not get the network channels for free. Can not get daytime programming and cannot get shows from CBS. Roku is great if you want to watch old programming but not for recent shows. Overall, not sure what I need it for, as I hardly ever watch it and movie rentals are higher than Redbox.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm still wondering what all the hype is about...Bought this device above a month ago and it collects dust while I'm using the Chromecast.

Works fine, but is difficult to use. Its not clear how to go back & change to another provider (netflix, Amazon, etc.

Love this thing but one small flaw...

I absolutely love my Roku3. The only thing that I dislike is that the remote really (really) goes through batteries. I think it's because i use headphones with it so often, but that's the whole reason I got the 3 instead of the 1 or 2. It seriously goes through a set of batteries every other week.
Besides that though it's an awesome device. So much easier than dealing with the limited menus, etc. on my smart TV and so many more channels. Also seems that if anything new comes out it's on Roku whereas smart TVs are just the major channels.
I would recommend this to a friend!
