Easy to setup & configure.

I have been using the Roku 3 for a month now and I was impressed how easy it was to setup. I also like how simple the remote is to use especially in low light situations. Streaming beats cable re runs any day of the week.

I love my roku 3 so much I bought one for a friend except she had to have roku 2 due to no HDMI on tv. I hardly ever watch comcast at this time. I'm looking forward even more channels. GET ONE!

Great Accessory for the not-so-smart TV

I was surprised at how easy it was to set up and play. From box to watching in about 5 minutes. I mainly watch Hulu and Netflix on it and the picture quail is great. I also recommend getting the Juice app for your iphone or android device. You can stream videos and pictures to your tv from your phone.

Won't do what I bought it for!

I bought Roku 3 primarily to watch college BB on ESPN3. I wasn't aware that it required a tv cable source to pick up espn3. I don't understand why it is necessary to have a cable setup when espn3 is strictly an internet program. You can't get it on cable, just the internet. I have DirecTV, which is not one of your listed suppliers, therefore it won't work for me at all.

Same movies, different channels, not good!

the device is OK....you advertise 1,000's of channels and movies, yet when i go to three different movie channels, i get the same movies. Some movie channels has 15-20 movies, all the same as on the other channels.
Also, some channels, History and Simthsonian, has plenty of channels, yet they are only previews. Do you guys counts these as one of the 1,000 different channels?
And some of the channels want your email address so they can bombard you with advertising. And some even have a trial period.
the best thing I use ROKU for is to stream my Netflix, which I've had a subscription for years. Only thing, searching all the movies is the same format on all channels. Can't Netflix show me the regular screen, the one that displays all the movies in different gendra?

THE best Streaming Device

Have used Apple TV, TIVo Stream, Amazon Prime (Computer to HDMI) Bought a RoKu because of the convenience of having access to all these and more on one device. (No Amazon Streaming on Apple TV) Love the added feature of headset and volume control on the RoKu Controller. I no longer have to keep "Turning the volume down" to keep other family members happy. The radio control remote is far superior to the point and shoot IR controllers everyone else seems to favor. Have already recommended RoKu to others. Good Job. High Five. Fist Bump!

I love my Roku it is very good for me and the family. I can watch anything I like and when I like. Only thing I wish is they need to Have new release movies on Netflix that you get on DVD, but other than that it is great to have love it.
