Logging in is a hassle

It is absurdly difficult to log in, having to scroll through each letter. I actually use Roku less because of this. It remains to be seen whether this nuisance factor will affect my willingness to stay subscribed.

Extremely hard to set up.

Very cumbersome to set up and get working correctly.. Literally spent HOURS trying to get it to connect. Keyboard is also cumbersome. Not near as easy to use as Apple TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good and Handy equipment

I bought this over a month ago and so far it is performing well. The down side in my opinion is that it does not have turn on or off button. once connected,, it stays on. Many a times, I always want to turn off my electronic when not in use and this Roku does not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was unhappily squeaking by with my dvd player for Netflix etc. I discovered Roku and with some misgivings began installation. WOW!! so very simple. My Netflix experience became much more enjoyable along with so many additional selections available through Roku3

Goodbye Network TV, Hello Roku!

I purchased the Roku 3 about a month ago and have used it everyday since then. I use it mostly for streaming Netflix, but I also use it to view my video purchases in Amazon. I have checked out the other channels, but I haven't really delved into them yet. I rarely watch network tv now since I can stream from Netflix. It has made me so happy to be able to watch what I want and not have to live with the drivel offered on tv. The Roku 3 has already paid for itself. I love it!

Pleased with the Roku 3

Even though I have a "smart" TV, I purchased the Roku 3 because it has a lot more apps, and those apps appear to be updated frequently. I am also in the process of "cord cutting", and I feel like it can depend on this device after the process is complete. The main apps I have used are Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and WatchESPN. Netflix does take about a minute to go to HD streaming, but otherwise I am happy with it.
I can use the remote that came with it, but it also works well with Harmony remotes.
I have preordered a Tablo DVR, and this will be the biggest test of my Roku. I should be able to use the Roku to watch and record OTA TV, and it will include 30-sec skip as well as pausing live TV.
I have had this device for about a month now, and I would recommend it.
