Having a great deal of trouble wit the " no signal " message......not easy to switch it between tv's.....

Not so great keyboard

I received the Roku 3 for Christmas. Little did I know that it would take so much time to sign in and do anything where a keyboard is required. There is so much on the Roku that I am overwhelmed. However, the remote is comfortable to use. The directions for use are minimal and you have to just try it to figure out how to use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are still learning subtle new features. The clarity of picture is great, I would like to see Netflix  add newer movies but for the price  I am satisfied.

Simple and Intuitive

Set-up was easy and one is watching program material in a short period of time. There were a minimal number of buttons on the remote yet all off the functions are covered. This device works well with a minimal amount of set-up time with on going use easy and convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't even connect to my NAS

This is another overpriced garbage device. I purchased it and was very unhappy because it only allows you to connect to roku "apps" and THAT'S IT!!! NOTHING ELSE! I have UPNP, DNLA, SMB and UNC compatible media server (NAS) at my home which I'm able to stream movies, pictures and music to every device in my house (TVs, PS3, XBMC, Computers, etc) But the ROKU? Nope could not connect. Roku does not have any such capabilities. Complete waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a month ago thinking I could replace my Dish Network. I ended up returning it. The tv series that I love to watch were either with another provider, that I had to buy into or not easily available. As a 60 year old individual, with some electronic no how I felt it was cumbersome to operate.
