Less than I expected

Reception is good, operation more complicated than need be. You can spend quite a bit more on Roku programing than for sat./cable. I can get more shows for free on computer than I can get on Roku. A laptop and and RGB cable to connect to your tv and you are ready to go. Youtube has lots of movies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Satisfied with roku because i mainly bought it to stream netflix in HD but definitely too many useless channels...

i am buying a roku after paying way too much on comcast for internet and cable. my question is will i be able to watch HBO or history channel with roku? will i need to purchase channels or are they free with buying roku 3?

The picture quality is great on my Roku3. Like the size, I can move the device easily to different TV sets. Wish there was more free services.

The many problems: First it keeps locking up on Netflix and Hulu so we have to reboot it almost every night. Second the screen saver does not always come on which is bad since we have a plasma TV. Third Netflix has an annoying auto-play after each show that is only on the Roku 3. Finally if you leave it on a Netflix instead of home an error pops up that the request is unavailable. We have children so this is a problem. We are very disappointed so far in the Roku 3.
