The Roku3 has a lot of nice features, but I most often use Netflicks. When I click on Netflicks, it just seems to sit there a very long time before anything happens. Also, it keeps complaining that it can't connect with my wireless network. I have to go through and diagnose everything and suddenly everything works. Once I it starts working, the movie works flawlessly. Go figure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Streaming stick does not work

I have owned my streaming stick under a month and it has already stopped working. The remote stopped working within a week.

Fail...no HBO GO or Showtime

I really wanted to like this thing after my Apple TV gave me problems. I got it home and connected it only to find out if you are like millions of other Comcast/xfinity users you will have no access to HBO GO or Showtime. That is a dealbreaker for me.

Some Good, 2 GREAT, Some "needs improvement"

1. Support team was great. Answered my question and got me going very quickly. 2. Do NOT like the registration part of setup. I do NOT want to be forced to attach a credit card to a device to start using it. Support was great in getting this resolved so I didn't have to put it in; however this was a special, unpublished site only available from the support team. 3. Only talks to DLNA devices=BAD! Needs SMB support to connect to servers and storage devices not running DLNA/uPNP. 4. NO .AVI (XVid) support = VERY BAD!!! Add CODEC's!! 5. Audio was great for music files. 6. NO audio from any of my supported video files - MP4 & MKV files. Video was good, just NO audio. 7. Screen Mirror worked pretty good with Win-8.1, but it needs Screen Mirror to work from Win-7 and up. 8. PLEX and Media Browser Licenses should be included (increase price to cover)

Got 3 Rokus all work fine got the hd,xp and the Roku 3.Easy setup easy to use no problems.Dropped Directv and bought 3 Rokus best investment i made for our family.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup
