Taking it back for a refund

I was excited to find this product (Roku 3) 04/30/13. Purchased today from a local retailer. Advertises that you can watch Netflix on a TV that doesn't have access to internet. That is why I purchased it. During the setup online I am creating an account and at the 2nd step you are required to enter a credit card number. Why? Or why isn't this optional. Taking back product tomorrow for a refund. Will find a different way to watch Netflix in guest room. I do not want my CC account available for guest to purchase anything intentionally or accindently.
Pros: Don't Know - Never Setup, Taking Back For Refund
Cons: Can't Even Watch Netflix, Setup Requires A Cc

Still missing some capabilities

You still can't make it play WMV's on USB.or optical audio like in the old ones. You just keep adding garbage and deleting the good stuff!!!!!!! The USB capability will not work if the update is out of date and you are not plugged into the internet for a download.

Issue with HDCP unauthorized

I bought this unit a month ago but one night, when I tried to use my netflix, it tells me that the HDCP is unauthorized and Content is disabled. Then, I tried to try the other application and the same message appears. So, I tried to google the fix for this issue and found that some ROKU 3 owners tried different ways to resolve the issue. So, I've tried one of the ways and unplug the power to reboot the unit and when I try to use the apps, the error was gone. I hope Roku will provide a fix or a patch for this problem. I'm just not sure if this issue will occur again. I would have given this unit a 5 start if not of that problem. Roku...pls. fix that problem.

Overrated. Waste of money.

I wanted something I could plug a usb drive into and play common media files with. However, it doesn't support many COMMON media filetypes. I'm just going to get a raspberry pi and use xbmc instead.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls
