I cut the cable cord years and was looking for a easy to setup, good value alternative. Many people I know are in the same boat. My Roku 3 has served that purpose with gusto. It's a great way to watch things [TV Shows and Movies] on my schedule. Couldn't be happier. 5-stars way up!

The Best stream box ever i can watch my friends live streams on twitch.tv think you Roku 3 ,I Like the Roku 3 becouse it stream every thing,and all so it has a usb port to watch outhere moives on flash drive and usb hard drives. and it has a hdmi Port on it all so you rock Roku.

We've owned this devise for 6-8 weeks and have grown really attached to it. Having doubts in the first several weeks because it was freezing up and restarting in the middle of movies. We found by googling the problem this was common, and was caused by a faulty hdmi cable. Replacing the cheap factory issue with a gold tipped Sony cable, the issue was resolved, and no problems since. This should be the first thing a new owner should do.

Roku 3 - prefer it to my "smart" tv's features

The Roku 3 menu system, speed and reliability make it much easier to use to find and stream content on our smart tv than the tv's built-in apps. We could have saved more than the cost of the Roku by buying a dumber tv.

Great channel selection, simplicity & speed

The Roku 3 was very easy to set up. Entering passwords for different channels can be somewhat cumbersome, but only need done once. Some channel updates can cause problems, but that is not Roku's fault. Doesn't travel well. But, it isn't designed to. Very small. Love the remote. No need to point it. Love the headphone jack on the remote.
