PBS rebuffers every 5-10 minutes

Remote seems flimsy and rolls when laid flat due to rounded back. No volume control. Cheap earphones. Netflix app shows queue in large format making it difficult to select something down the list. PBS app continually rebuffers every 5-10 minutes making a show unwatchable! We bought the Roku only for the PBS and Netflix app intending to cancel our cable.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: Poor Design

Pros: Amazon Pandora Netflx, Easy To Install Anywhere, Pay One Time Fee, Great App Selection, Ted Talks Hulu

The programs are very unstable, especially when changing channels,it became black-out, or when watching a program, it suddenly disappear.

Unless you want to use Amazon or Netflix...this had nothing to offer...especially for kids...was hoping we could get rid of Directv....but not for this....too limited.....

This unit is an absolute must for folks that enjoy streaming Netflix or Amazon movies. It works incredibly well.
Pros: Simple to use, Really Good Hd Picture, Reliable

Doesnt stream network content natively

I purchased the Roku 3 because I assumed it would be able to stream media from my network. Unfortunately I did not do enough research to realize it does not natively do this. You can download an app that allows you to stream some video but does not support mkv files. There are lots of apps in the store, all of which you seem to need to make a new account for.
Pros: Fast Setup
Cons: Needs a keyboard, Ui Not The Best
