Forget cable

We bought this because we were tired of paying the high cable rates that kept going up. I am so glad we did. We have many more options now and we can watch them whenever we want to. Bye bye cable!

Got the Roku and am still trying to figure it out. I think it was developed by an out-of-the-box thinker and so it isn't exactly what I expected.

concept is great, especially for browsing and for using netflix, hulu and amazon. So many of the channels look great but not a fan of the monthly charges for so many of them.

Best media player option

This is the 5th Roku purchase. I also have tried other media players as well but always come back to Roku. The only issue I have with the player is the lack of formats it's able to play for USB content, so I have to use an alternate program to convert my downloads to MP4s. If it could play .avi files I would give 5 stars
