I liked my Roku 3 while it worked, but it went TU a little past warranty and couldn't get replaced. It always ran pretty hot. Not worth the money to have lasted so short of a time. I guess that's why the warranty is limited.

I've had this Roku for almost a year now. Roku really dropped the ball on this one. The remote constantly loses connection with the Roku, and pairing it again isn't always as simple as pressing the button like the instructions say. The headphone jack is an awesome feature, but you'll find crackling and sound choppiness, especially when the batteries are going (but well before they are actually dead).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After a week of playing and trying to find what I like I could not find what I wanted without paying.

The remote controller de-synced with unit and unable to resync. Have two units, same thing happened to the other unit but was able to eventually resync it after trying the various methods, unfortunately the unit that won't sync is a paperweight. Will never by another roku product.

Friends have said easy to install. My experience is distressing. It is now in a drawer. My remote controls don't control any longer. Can't understand what I did wrong.

"HDCP Unauthorized Content" issues

Bought the product and was happy until I would return to watch the next time and the video would constantly give me the "HDCP unauthorized content" message. I would just reset the box and it would go back to normal, but I had to do this every time I returned to watch a program. I researched the issue and called ROKU, but I didn't find any real solutions.
