FREEZES & SIZE

WE HAVE AN ISSUE W/THE ROKU FREEZING, IT DOESN'T FIT THE BACK OF ALL TV'S, WE A 32" SEIKI & I HAD TO BEND THE ROKU EVER SO SLIGHTLY TO FIT IN THE BACK, SO NOW I'M PURCHASING AN HDMI EXTENTION. IT TAKES A WHILE TO POWER UP, DON'T LIKE SEEING ROKU BOUNCING UP & DOWN. WOULD LIKE THE REMOTE TO HAVE AN ON/OFFBUTTON.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It freezes a lot.

I have several Roku's but the Roku 3 seems to freeze a lot. I have unplug the unit 1 to 2 times a month when it doesn't react to the remote. On the plus side, I love the new interface for Netflix but wish I could just set who the user is just once instead of every time. The speed to navigate around is great!

Everything on Roku

We bought this a month ago and we are still blown away with all that Roku has to offer. I am a movie fan for the most part and the movies seem to be endless. I am so happy we bought Roku 3. In fact, we have two of them, one for each television as my husband loves to watch different stuff than I do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I actually have 2 Roku 3s and wouldn't be without them; they are the only TV I have now; after I got Roku I discontinued my TV server and I have more than enough to watch!

Best streaming choice overall

The Roku may not be the prettiest or flashiest streaming device out there, but it is my choice of all those that I have owned or tried. It's interface is fast and easy to use, it has wide availability of channels/services, can connect via wired or wireless ethernet, and has IR so that it can be operated with my universal remote control.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to set up and simple to use!

I received the Roku 3 over the holidays. Set-up was simple, and it is extremely easy to use. The remote is well-designed: you are not overloaded with useless features. One major plus is that you can plug headphones right into the remote control to hear the audio output. This is really helpful when using a noisy treadmill; I do not have to crank up the volume and disturb everyone else in the house. Overall, I am very pleased with the Roku 3 and highly recommend it.

Easy to Install

This (ROKU III) is a great improvement over its competitor. I had to return a Chromecast, which was much cheaper, but didn't function very well.
This is well worth the extra money although the head phone option may not be for everyone. If you don't have great computer skills this is for you.
