will not connect to my surround sound home theater because it is not compatible with a digital optical audio cable I had to connect with yet another speaker system now not getting the surround sound...

I've tried other streaming unit and was very disappointed. I have not had any issues with the Roku 3 and beyond the the flawless streaming it give you the ability to add channels beyond the pre-loaded ones.
With the $60.00 digital antenna on my roof and Roku I can "Cut the Cord" from cable.
I use Fios for internet only, all the network stations broadcast in HD and its free.
So just a few inexpensive streaming services and I have more content then I can ever watch. And it's 90% HD

Best Streaming Interface

I bought 1 3 months ago and I now have 2. I can get many of the streaming sites that I can't get directly from my TV and even the ones I can get are better thru ROKU.
I would recommend this to a friend!
