A snappy little product that's easy....ish

If all you want is Netflix or Amazon Prime, it's good choice, but there are a lot of good choices. If you do some digging for apps, it becomes much more useful. If Roku was really smart they'd provide a lot of incentive for good developers to expand the usefulness of this product even more so than it is.

So Many Choices

Initially purchased the Roku 3 to get the Blaze channel, but I got so much more. I travel for work and the TV choices vary wildly, so now I take my Roku with me. I have access to my channels anywhere. It is great

One of the main reasons that we upgraded to the Roku 3 is because our Roku (1) was slow and locked up a few times a week. And since Roku insists on NOT putting an ON/OFF switch on the unit, it had too be unplugged and as I said was slow to restart. So, the Roku 3 is MUCH faster on start-up and loading apps, we still have a slight problem maybe once a week and have to unplug (GRRR!) for it to restart. It seems that this happens if we try to scroll through the show choices too fast, so maybe its more of an app issue then a Roku issue, still frustrating.
Still very happy overall.

The setup was so simple, I was sure I forgot something. I set aside an hour to get everything setup. By the end of the hour, I was fully setup AND had watched a TV show episode on Netflix.
