We purchased one at christmas, and love it. Cut our cable bill by 1/3 , might even change it again.

It was very easy to set up the wireless connection to my router, and does a very good job in providing quick and easy access to the services providers. The remote is quite easy to use.

Awesome streamer

Had the RK about 2 months and now question why I pay for regular cable from Verizon. Cable companies will soon have two choices; lower their prices to compete or loose thousands of customers who are only wanting Internet services so they can use the RK.
You can find anything you want to watch easily on the RK. All you need is Netflix and Hulu and maybe Amazon prime tv and you're set with a zillion options to watch. If you need the local channels you can just get an HD antenna and then you have access to "live" news and sports. My kids love the kids section and games too. A subscription to Netflix and Hulu is much cheaper than a monthly cable hd tv package.
Things the RK needs:
Remote with voice control like amazon's.

Easier ways to mirror all other devices so you can put what is on your phone,tablet,laptop on the screen including audio
Internet browser
Screen capture
A way to view IP Cameras so when someone rings your doorbell you can see your security cameras.

We were able to get rid of so much cable! We would be able to be completely rid of it except for ESPN.

Great alternative to satellite or cable

I have much more control over the type of shows I want to watch. I don't have all the trashy programs forced upon me that cable or satellite does.
