Roku3 is essential for 1080p+ movie viewing. Better than its competitors, by far.

Easy to use

This unit does all that I expected of it. The remote control is easy to use, since it has just enough buttons, unlike your typical DVD or TV remotes. Channel selection is very good, and fast. Icons can be moved easily on the TV screen, thus you can move your favorite channels to the top of your list for easy access. It quickly adjusts to your internet capabilities. For example, I use it with relatively slow DSL broadband. I even use it to stream TV shows from my home computer with Windows Media Center, an installed tuner and the Plex App. Say good-by to Satellite or Cable!

I had ROKU 2 for quite a while. There were times when it would be very slow and a lot of time I would need to update my wifi connection. I seemed to lose it for whatever reason. ROKU 3 does seem to be faster but what I really like about it is the capability to use headphones. My wife can now catch her ZZZZZZs while I am watching whatever I wish.

Bought this for Christmas makes watching Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime so easy. There are other apps but these are the ones I use
