I like the fact I can view YouTube content. I enjoy watching vudu on my Roku 3. I wish the remote was a little sleeker. I wish it had a sleep mode feature. Otherwise it has been a positive purchase.

Roku was given to me for Christmas and I love it. I love have easy it was to set up and use, as well as having so many channels to choose from.

Not happy

I bought this 2 months ago and hooked it up to my TV easily. I considered the visual much better that the Roku 2. However after 1 month of working fine, the unit stopped working. I contacted Roku and waited patiently for the chance to discuss my problem. Finally, with someone, told problem and had to wait long periods between answers. I was frustrated that this device worked fine and then stopped working. It is frustrating dealing with the company who does not have real technicians to help. The unit still does not work on my tv so I have the Roku 2 plugged in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not really what we expected - far to many pay sites, and the free sites available all play things no one really wants to see. Almost everything found on the Roku we could have gotten elsewhere. Mostly a waste of our money

Better than expected. Easy to find the cheapest (or free) venue for a given show or movie you are interested in. Hardly ever have to 'cast' from my iPad since most apps or media I'd like to stream are on the device itself. Roku rocks!

I really feel like I nailed it with this one. They love being able to pull up Netflix when they want to watch a movie together or whatever.
