Upgraded to Roku 3 from Roku 2 - twice as fast

The new Roku is awesome, it is twice as fast as the Roku 2 unit. When I open a channel or start playing a show, it proceeds nearly instantaneously. What helps is the direct wired ethernet plugin, in contrast to the wifi, which was certainly slower. I can get up to 25 Mbits per second. Sweeeeeeeet. So, great job on the hardware.
The one gripe I have is about Netflix. I don't really think this is Roku's fault, but in my opinion the Netflix channel developed primarily and only for the Roku 3 is clunky. They tried to make it look more like a cinema experience when browsing channels, but they made the actual movie tiles way too small. Also, because there is so much on one screen, it is simply not as smooth as the Roku 2 original design, with the poster-tile-size movies to browse. But that is most likely a Netflix development issue.
Overall I really like the new unit.

Needs one more feature!

I haveseveral ROKii, or ROKUs..2 X ROKU2 and one 3. As ROKU 4 will deal with the need for 4K, I hope, then there is only one upgrade needed. One ROKU interfers with another ROKU in a nearby room by changing Channels. Seems a frequency switch, AB switch or code etc might easily deal with this problem. Glad all the Garage Doors in the neighborhood have different frequencies. What a sight if all were the same ... and ROKU operated!!!! LOL

I really liked my Sony BluRay player with the streaming capabilities UNTIL ... I purchased Roku 3. This this is so AWESOME! It's fast ... it allows for FF & RW without a lot of time to refresh! It's my favorite TV companion! Great Player!

I'm not very tech savvy, but I was able to set up my Roku 3 very quickly and easily! I absolutely LOVE it, and it's so easy to navigate. I highly recommend it!

Very Simple to use

I bought a Roku 3 in November because it offers the Plex Media App. The Roku 3 has performed well above my expectations. If fact, I was so pleased with all the features and functionality that I have since purchased two more. I would recommend the Roku 3 to anyone who wants to turn their TV in to a smart TV that functions better than and is easier to use. Beats my high end smart TV. My wife and kids migrate to the TV's with the Roku before using the Smart TV. It just streams better and is much simpler to us. Wifi is simple to setup and has handled everything I've thrown at it.
