We love our Roku 3 and JW.TV Broadcasting !

It has been such a pleasure using Roku 3 and becoming spiritually upbuilt being able to watch JW.TV Broadcasting. We can watch a steady flow of accurate Bible information and consistent encouragement in this challenging world we all live.

Easy to set up and use, with lots of apps

I love the variety of choices, AND the ability to plug ear-buds into the remote. (My wife appreciates that since I am a night-owl and she isn't!)

Now it works fine. The first one we got was defective. I spent hours on line with support. Took it back and got another one. Now it is fine.

Easier to use than Apple TV and Chromecast

I've had an Apple TV and a Chromecast, and this exceeds both of them in ease of use. Apple TV is locked down, works great if you only want Apple stuff, but I prefer the menu system, ease of use, and search capabilities of the Roku. Why doesn't the Apple TV have an Amazon app, rather than just streaming it from my phone. The Roku app is awesome for Amazon Prime movies. I prefer the app interface and search capabilities of Roku. I think Apple's menu system is outdated and not as easy to use as the Roku. Chromecast is OK, but I have to download a bunch of apps on my phone to see if they'll be able to cast. This isn't the best for everyone in my house, especially the ones who aren't super tech savvy. I like the apps and being able to search an actor or movie and see where it is available to stream. Way better than the Apple TV and Chromecast. My wife didn't really like the Apple TV or the Chromecast and didn't use them, she uses the Roku all of the time.
