I purchased my first ROKU 3 for my girlfriend and she initially thought that it wasn't worth it and it was just another one of my impulse purchases. After only a day or two she absolutely fell in love with it, it is convenient and intuitive. We particular like the roku's search capability and its quick response times.

I received this Roku 3 for Hanukkah as a gift, and it is the best gift I have ever gotten. Love it Love it Love it!!!!!

Well ... I found the " stick" to be fair but better than the #3 .. So far I had to reset the "stick" every week! But not the # 3

I got this for the holidays. The best thing about the Roku is you can get Google Play and Amazon Prime. You don't get that with Google's or Amazon's competing products.

The only box you need

We are up to three Roku 3's throughout our house. It's completely replaced cable, which is pretty much like cable never existed. Anything you want to watch is available somewhere on the Roku. The Roku interface is easy to use, clear to understand, and is neutral, meaning that it will help you find your shows on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Vudu, etc. There's no steering you to one particular service or another. The NHL Game Center app offers every game in crystal clear HD which is a huge improvement over the cable version which only shows 1 or 2 HD games per night.
If you're looking to cut the cord on cable, the Roku is the HDMI you want to plug in to not only fill the void, but broaden your selections.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love that I can set a purchasing pin code, so that my children can use it freely without me having to worry about them accidentally purchasing anything.
