Easy to run

I bought the Roku for our vacation home. It is a savings because we can tie in our cable serve at home to some the features Roku apps offers. The apps load up fast. I had to switch to a Lithium Battery for the remote. The Alkaline batteries lasted for about 3 weeks. I do use the ear peace ,(Earplugs) a lot so, I'm not sure if this is the cause of battery failure. Show time and Fox sometimes locks up.

Has to be restarted all the time.

I recently purchased the Roku3 and the only problem I have is that it needs to be restarted constantly.

A great device. The only problem is the remote, I don't know why but it drains batteries pretty fast. Don't leave the the headphones plugged in, that may be the cause of the drain. Beside that the little box is a gem, fast and always ready to go. The battery drain may be my fault don't take for granted.

We've owned the ROKU player about a month and have definitely enjoyed viewing the channels that are offered. We still are connected to Cable but, are considering dropping cable. It seems like we have only a few channels that we watch on cable and the rest are home shopping networks which we do not want. ROKU is a great option for those that want a change.
