I have used a Roku for 3 years (I think). I watch it a lot. I like the choice of programming it provides as well as it's reliability. I decided it was time to get the latest and greatest - and it is.

Fantastic So Far!

We've had the Roku for about a month, and it's been ideal so far. Easy set up, smooth operation, great quality of video. The biggest "Con" I can think of is that when you use the Search function the cursor doesn't wrap from one side of the "keyboard" to the other, making it more cumbersome to "type" your search query using the remote. But that's the worst thing I have to say about the Roku 3. :)

Great player but lack few small things

I love my Roku. I am not an Apple fan so I bought the Roku 3. What I thing is missing is the on/off button (so I am sure it is not putting on new show nonstop and I know that I can turn that off) and to put in manually DNS. I have not tried to use it with my NAS but I will try that soon. So one star off for DNS and on/off button otherwise I would give it 6 star especially for the headphone function and a great remote.

worth the investment

very pleased overall with the Roku 3. Easy to navigate and customize. Down side includes the handset going to sleep (I guess to save battery life) but can make it difficult to phase, also the handset sound via headphones is not great, breaks up. Would also like to be able to pair with TV so total volume control could be through the handset.

Who needs cable?

For the price of one month of your cable bill you can have all of Netflix, YouTube and Hulu available at your fingertips. Obviously this doesn't give you access to shows as they're running live but as someone who watches far more movies than tv, this is an ideal set up. I can't believe I waited this long to get one.
