I was complaining to my daughter that my Smart TV wasn't all that bright because when I searched for apps like Amazon Prime, I couldn't get it. My daughter told me about Roku. I bought one at a price I thought was reasonable and I love the access to programs and movies I want to watch when I want to watch without increasing my dependence on traditional cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first Roku 3 died, it was after the 90 day whatchamacallit but I contacted Roku, told them my story and they sent me a brand spanking new replacement. I love being able to access Netflix and Amazon in one place. Roku rocks! - it's my go-to when I actually do watch TV, because I cut the cord long ago. The only thing that would make this better? Something to stream my own content locally, like Plex, but totally in house.

Seems faster than prefious models

After using the Roku XD 2 , I find the latest Roku 3, the fastest loader of movies / shows. There is one feature I miss on Roku 2 which is when looking over the choices on Netflix, it lets me look at 5 at a time rather than one at a time , In other words it moves faster rather than moving one at a time . Overall, if you want to save money , get the Roku 2 BUT if you want a speedy fast loader - get the Roku 3.

We are very happy with our Roku. I didn't know there were so many channels and so much good programming. Our Roku 3 was very easy to setup and use. I like it so much that I convinced family members to get one, too.

Love our Roku3 so much we went and got a second one . It works. That's the bottom line. It's simple to use and does exactly what you want it to. Elegant design, great features, and no messing around. It does the job and then some.
