More than I imagined

Unit does everything and does it well. Voyage great. Never used one until now. Not a technology nut, but this might change that.

Perfect way to save money and still enjoy TV

I bought the roku in December for me and my 4 year old daughter, after not having had cable for a year. I got tired of watching all my shows on my laptop and decided to try the roku route, and I'm glad I did! It's a wonderful way to have access to all of my favorite shows, without having to spend a ridiculous amount of money on cable. I already have netflix and the roku gave me three months of huluplus. It's easy to buy movies and shows on google and amazon, so I never feel like I'm lacking in that sense. A friend was kind enough to share his HBO GO subscription so I'm all set! There are so many free channels that I don't really struggle finding things to watch. My 4 year old learned how to work it quickly and she loves the kid friendly channels as well. While I miss live streaming news and sports games, I think you can probably find a channel to watch the live games on. Overall, it's been a great addition to my household and I'm very pleased with the service.

Great and easy to use!

I purchased and installed this a month ago and it's great! My kids love being able to access music and their shows and I love the ease of being able to add the channels that we enjoy.

My first media streamer

I like the unit overall , with a couple of exceptions. First,the wireless setup will not accept my router password,so I had to plug in directly. Second,when trying to access live programming (like espn),a code is needed and service providers are limited , and info seems to be limited.

I was expecting the Roku 3 to be harder to set up and learn how to navigate around. I am very proud to say I was wrong. It was a breeze! Thank goodness.
