Paired with Fios service this Roku 3 viewing Netflix is very fast and never has any lag or performance issues. Didn't give five stars because no ability to attach a keyboard for search in YouTube. But for general use as advertised this thing is great.

fast, easy to use

I bought a Stick about 6 months ago. The wife wanted her own, so we bought the 3. I heard it works a bit faster, it does; I was able to run a CAT 5 cable to the unit, speeding thing up, and the remote mounted 1/8" jack was a must, she's hard of hearing. If my Stick goes bad, I'm buying a 3 or 4 as a replacement.

Better the chromecast

I bought both chromecast and roku 3 and compared them side by side. Roku 3 won by far. More convenient, more options available. Would like an add on of internet access to be perfect.

Third ROKU

I just purchased my third ROKU and am very impressed with the ease of installation and ease of use. The initial set up of the channels you wish to use is easy but note that you do need to register with most. If you are already a member (such as Netflix) all you need is your username and password for the initial setup then it's clear sailing. I have three units on three TVs. They are used daily.

I bought 3 of the Roku 3, after a recommendation of my friend. I have a vacation home in a remote area and needed to get some access to entertainment. I love the way this thing works, simple to use, easy to setup and awesome picture quality... I see this as a homerun for me, my guest think it was the perfect choice for the guest rooms...

Worth the extra $

I went from model 1 to model 3 after reading a number of reviews. I haven't found any major differences, but the increased navigation speed, especially fast-forwarding, tells me I made a wise decision. I'd actually rate it 4 1/2 stars.
