Love the search feature!

I bought this a month ago and am extremely happy with it. I love the search feature from the top and the amount of apps you get with it. I'm not too convinced with the YouTube App but I love everything else. It's super fast!!

Excellent features and value. The search function is one of the best I've seen. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the lack of a keyboard on the remote.

I purchased Roku3 in December..I did my research between Roku3, Kindle Fire and Apple Tv online and my friends/co-workers opinion and I am so happy I picked Roku3. This tiny little round box is Great! It has so many options/features and the clarity is on point!

Game Changer

This little device, and others like it, signal the end of the era of Cable TV as we know it. We have asked cable companies for years to charge only for what we watch. With Roku, and it's user-friendly remote, you now choose what you'll pay for and not be charged for the rest. Once the bandwidth issues are worked out with done of the services (HULU+!) we will see a Roku in as many households as now have cable TV.

Poor free content!

Free content is limited to very old or low rated movies. Won't stream from Verizon MyFi due to too much buffering. Free games are worthless. YouTube interface is terrible.

We do not miss cable - having a Roku 3

I cut the cable and bought a ROKU 3 6 months ago and now have one on each TV. When I cut the cable I installed a couple of OTA Antennas to get network TV. That worked great but now I find that I rarely watch network TV since network news and all the shows I like can be found on the ROKU channels. I subscribe to Netflix (marginal to poor selection) and Hulu-Plus (great selection) and get the Network news channels on Roku for free. Set up was easy and it always works.

Has all I need

My need is to have the internet and to see occasional shows and movies. I do no want to have cable television in any form or from any source, so Roku is the perfect match for my needs. I use Netfilx, and the BYU TV a lot, and get them through Roku. I recommend Roku as a great and inexpensive way to go.
