Very disappointed

I bought this in July and it worked great for 2 months then started having a lot of problems with streaming.  It takes forever to get movie going then disconnects every minute or so.  Not worth the trouble and frustration to even use it anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought it several months ago now to replace an earlier version.  It was the right choice.  It works seamlessly.  I've had no major problems with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have found it clumsy to navigate through the offerings and 90% of the picture quality is terrible with only 10% being moderately decent

No youtube support

No Youtube support. Very poor UI in terms of ability to use keyboard.
Is there a way i could return the device and get a refund...
installation was a pain too. It did not stay on the screen for password of Wi Fi and used to get hung.
The device also lacks a power on/off button.

temperamental remote

support says it may be my wifi interrupting remote communication with the roku device... really? wifi is everywhere these days... bad design idea?
I cannot even get into the initial setup, so I have yet to actually use the device.

I had to reset everything on about a three day window time after time. And now it won't reset (work) at all. Extremely disappointed and out $99.

Films too dark..

Disappointment!! See remarks below... Most films are too dark.. especially in dark scenes.. like rain. I can use my laptop (in place of Roku) to get Netflix on same T.V. and the pictures are not too dark.
I have used every available contrast, brightness adjustments available and no improvement.... It gets to be uncomfortable after a while... like straining my eyes. Even the game, "Angry Birds", is dark.

I'm glad that I brought the roku. The only thing that's missing is internet capable. It would be great; if not for not being able to go on the internet.
