I think the HDMI function is outstanding. Since installation I no longer have drop outs.

Some video freeze or the Roku reboots in the middle of a video & the remote doesnt always do what I want even with new batteries (often have to hit a button a few time or hold the button for a few seconds to get it to do what I want/need) Frustrating on all counts!!

Greatest Invention Since the TV !

We now own 7 players and 1 stick. Would definitely recommend the Roku 3 vs the 1 or 2......well worth the additional money. Reception on the 3 is exceptional and compatible with dual band routers. Headphone jacks are a relationship saver for late night viewing. Only complaint is the fact that there is a volume control for the headphone jack.....but not one that is compatible with the actual TV. This unfortunate nuisance creates the need for 2 remotes to be handy at all times when viewing Roku. Please make it possible to sync your user friendly remote with TV's. Would also like to see the addition of MaxGo, Starz Play, Encore Play to your channel lineup.

Rock Solid HD Streaming

I've had this a month and it's my go-to for streaming, although maybe less than 30% of the 1500 channels are watchable, hence end up going to the big aggregates - Amazon, NetFlix, etc. - to save time. Hope to one day dump cable so this is a good step

reboot everytime

if i don't watch anything for a day then i have to reboot the player every time since i get a blue screen that reads, "not authorized for viewing....and so on"
