Awesome Streamer!

We received the Roku 3 as a registry gift. Used it for about 2 weeks and decided to exchange it for a blu-ray player. I will say that the Roku 3 is probably the best streaming device I have used. It is fast, responsive, and has sleek streamlined look and feel, not to mention all the different services it supports. You can search for media in the search tab and it will show all the available ones across multiple services. The only downside to the roku is that it supports very few video codecs when playing from a usb media drive. It was mentioned that you can run Plex which easily decoded video formats and streamed them to the roku, but that would inconveniently require my laptop to be plugged to my hard drive. That was the only reason that we exchanged ours, going with a blu-ray player that supported multi-video formats. If the Roku 3 had supported mulit-video codecs for usb media, I would give it a 5 stars. Other than that, the Roku 3 is a small but powerful device that is the best at what it does: streaming online media.

I bought this to replace my Nintendo Wii for streaming. Best buy I ever made! I love the features and how small the unit is. I would definitely buy this again.

Best Streamer on the Market

The Roku 3 is totally FANTASTIC. I now have more than 300 FREE stations added to my Television . It is a breezy to set up and to have the Headphone Jack in the Remote is great , so I can listen as load as I want and not disturb anyone else in the house.

We are happy to Say we are close to get a rid of cable in Mexico, few weeks till cable contract expires, would like only to be able to upload a VPN app to make IT perfect

I have yet to see even the slightest break in smooth transmission thanks to the buffering system. But I am even more impressed by the remote. The interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Best OTT device available!

The Roku 3 is the easiest and most feature rich over-the-top device on the market today. With thousands of available channels, you can customize your viewing experience. The added USB port makes watching movies on a hard drive seamless. In addition there's many more features the Roku has that Apple TV doesn't. The only advantage Apple TV has over Roku is AirPlay for iOS devices. The Roku outshines the Apple TV in every other way.

I have had the Roku3 for two months now and its hands down the best streaming player available. It's fast, the remote is awesome, you can search for anything you want to watch and Roku will tell you all the services that have what you are looking for, because there are so many great content providers bailable and so many channels this is great. I literally gave my Apple TV away, I love my Roku3.
