I truly love having my RoKu, it is so fast , all I have to do is pick up the remote and hit whatever prescription that I had out. It stores my password and I don't have to resubmit them every time I go and one of my packages. And it is so easy to set up .
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought 3 Roku's at the same time and two are working well and one works intermittently and needs to be rebooted often. It appears that I got one bad unit.

We have 3 Roku devices in our home. Very easy to install and operate. We don't have to make holes (led to big leaks and huge spending) in our roof anymore to install a satellite dish to get the stations we want to watch. There is still room for improvement just keep working at it. It will get better because I've seen some improvements already. I still need to learn more about the Roku device. Thanks

Display issues Drops quality even in wired connec

ROKU 3. Have it hardwired into internet connection. It will start out 1080P, but in there is any hiccup in the line it reverts down to 480i and WILL NOT reinitialize to a better resolution unless you turn it off (unplug it) and back on. No dvd player will do that to you!

By comparing to similar device from Netgear, Roku needs build in volume control and On-Off switch for TV, so I don't have to constantly hold two remote controls in my hand.
Also needs American life channels like CNN news, FOX News, History, Discovery (if required, payed separately), so I can finally read out of cable TV.

It would be nice to get some live shows/sports, without paying for a channel. And on the cooking shows, it would be nice to have an entire show, not just a 2 minute recipe and then you have to push more buttons to see more. We haven't found yet where we can watch old TV shows or movies without paying and with it being a full show, not just clips. The PBS Kids channel is great! Not what we expected - expected more live/recent viewing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
