Great decision

Having used my game console to stream for the last few years, I decided to give Roku a try. It's been a great improvement. Easy to use and navigate, Roku offers a selection of channels and alternatives that I did not expect. The quality is first-rate from all channels I currently use, including Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, YouTube, and others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a bit electronically challenged but the hookup was successful and now our family can enjoy movies, sharing a laugh, or tear, a bowl of popcorn, and most importantly fellowship together. This winter will be much more enjoyable.....Thank you

frustrated that it freezes up all the time. Guess I'm wasting money with Netflix.

Best Roku yet

I've had other Roku players in the past and upgraded all of them to the Roku 3. It is pretty much flawless. The remote headphone jack is a great feature, I use it all the time, and the non infrared remote is much easier to use.

First off, keep in mind this is not a replacement for regular broadcast or premium TV. Don't expect the channels to be live or have the latest and greatest programming (think hulu and Netflix). However, this review is for the box itself. In as far as that goes I can't say enough. This is a great little device. Simple. Easy to use and setup (as long as you have some degree of tech acumen). Its compact, uses little power, connects easily and provides a great interface for streaming media. there has only been a few things I would say about streaming media in general; and this is something you need to keep in mind. Some streaming media might have a delay in the audio. This is *not a problem with the Roku. Its the service streaming the media. Don't contact Roku about this.
I will say that you might want to invest in the SD card. I found that it solves a problem with caching channel content such as the icons for programs, refresh of the content, and some selection issues in general. After I put one in, the Roku worked flawlessly.

Worked Great

This device gives you all the access you need to digital content on a host of programs within Roku. Netflix and Hulu + work with ease and I wonder why I didn't get this sooner. The free content isn't bad either. I highly recommend the Roku 3, because it is fast. My son loves all the PBS content.

Clean and simple to use!

I bought two Roku's this last year, one for my older TV and one for the new. The Roku 2 takes care of the old and the Roku 3 is hooked up to the new. Not being tech savy I was so very pleased by the ease and set up.
