Amazing!

A friend recommended I purchase a Roku for my family. The display and options are great. The cost was affordable since it prevented me from having to purchase a new blue ray player. Best option: headphone remote! My teenager loves the headphone option (and so do I). We enjoy the Roku 3 so much that we purchased older versions as Christmas gifts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

On the whole I rate it Roku 4/5. The -1 is for the pesky commercials that are still there even though I pay for channels and for the not as new selection available for NetFlix streaming, but the 1080P with surround sound makes up for a lot.

Really like the Roku and bought one then got the high end fire TV as a present for christmas. For less money and with voice recognition I wish I had two of amazons advanced fire TV products instead.

got it for xmas, easy to set up if you know how and have a pc in your house. needs to come with instructions ! I also don't like that I CAN NOT SHUT IT OFF!!!!!
YES IT BOTHERS ME! so I unplug it. all sites u go 2 you have to put all your info in, over and over again that really sucks.
once is running and your channels are set up is learning to navigate with the remote
explanations, instructions how would be an awesome idea!

Out of the box and running in 10 minutes! Connection to Wifi works every time, no pausing during movies. Huge selection of channels! Three couples have come over for coffee and when I showed Roku to them, they each ordered one from my living room! How did I live my life without this???

Update to YOUTUBE channel on ROKU 1/10/15 is Terrible! Can't see any of our folders on our channel anymore. Has this silly search that takes forever and a day to search for something using the Roku remote!! Too frustrating to use now!!! Not a fan ANYMORE! Value of Youtube channel before this backwards update was excellent, now less than poor!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
