Great box with a lot os app

a friend told me I want to show you a box, roku 3, he told me is good and have a lot a app. After that I bought one and is really good.

With basic and premium cable costs constantly soaring and content becoming increasingly not worth the costs, I listened to a friend's advice and bought the Roku 3. I love it !

Very easy set up, almost a 5 star product

I love everything about this nice little product except for the NHL Center Ice playing. It often stops in the middle of playing, telling me there is a playback error and to reload the game. Sometimes when reloading it says "you must have a subscription to receive this program" which of course I have. I then have to completely get out the app by going to the home page, then restart the app and find the game etc. Outside of that, the product is awesome. I can watch Netflix movies and watch things off my phone, everything, at it all works flawlessly! I also really love being able to use my cell phone to operate it. Makes entering words so much easier than navigating through those on screen keyboards! I also wish they would offer the Google Play Music App so I can access my music library without having to use my phone.

Amazed at its quality

I've owned an LT and an HD before, and while I did love those when I had them, I was blown away when I first started playing with the Roku 3. The processor is amazingly quick, which makes a huge difference in the interactivity of the device. Roku continues to have the best interface of any of the streaming devices, and I doubt that ever changes. Not to mention that the App Store is far superior to the competitors'. The only thing that I want out of the 3 is screen mirroring from an Android or Apple device. I know currently Roku had a beta program that allows for mirroring for Android devices, so I'm excited to see what that has in store for the future.

i thought when i bought it that it came with a temporary hbo and a couple other temporary channels to check out or i would not have paid over retail price for it.

Great for non-smart TV

I connected this roku to my old 46" Sony LCD and makes a big difference. I really like the roku specially the media player to view my movies from from hard drive.
Great purchase!
