Buying the ROKU was one of the best investments I have ever made. Channel selections are fantastic.I really enjoy streaming such a wide variety of entertainment.

Bought this a month ago to accompany my home theater. With native 1080p output through HDMI, I have nearly completely stopped using my blu-ray player. What else could you really want?

I bought 6 month ago.This is a major improvement over using a Blu-ray player to stream, it's easy to use and easy to set up, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a better way to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Very fast, like the apps. They are featured differently (Netflix for example) than the ones pre-installed on my living room TV. I use the Roku 3 for the bedroom tv which is why I love the plug in headphone to the remote.

For me this is the best streaming player out there

This is my second Roku 3. I bought it because my new Samsung "smart TV" just doesn't do the job.
The Positive:
The Roku has an excellent Wifi connection (it will work anywhere in my house) where the TV doesn't work over 15-20 ft from my router. I have an internet connection with extremely low bandwidth, and the Roku works where others won't. For example during the Prime time period, my Roku will stream Amazon instant Video pausing to buffer from time to time where my Samsung Smart TV or my laptop will pause to buffer every 30 seconds or less. Same with Netflix, The Roku rarely if ever pauses to buffer where my Samsung TV buffers frequently. The Roku does better with my limited bandwidth. Setup is simple and it is easy to add the Roku to your Netflix, Amazon, or Pandora accounts.
My first Roku 3, now 1 year old, has never missed a beat. The sound from the headphone jack on the remote control is great. I plug a set of external speakers into the remote to listen to Pandora in my garage.
Now the NEGATIVE... and why I removed one star from the rating
There is NO volume control for the TV on the remote... meaning I always have to have the TV remote with me. This is a HUGE omission for me. Every other device I have plugged into the TV has a TV volume control on their remote. My cheap dvr, my cheap blueray player, even my ancient dvd player can all control the TV's volume. I don't think this would be difficult to fix as there is already a volume control for the headphone jack on the remote. I don't know why this hasn't been fixed yet.
All in all, this is a good device.

Easy to use, lots of content and high quality pic

This is our second Roku: my wife wanted it so she could watch if I was on the other TV. Lots of content to choose from, very easy to set up and use and the picture and sound quality are excellent. It is better than a stick because you do not need a smart phone as your content source. My only wish is that I could stream content from my iPhone.

Qreat product I own 3. I have told all my friends and neighbors about ROKU. I have tried two other streaming products they can't even come close to what you get with ROKU.

Took a chance on Roku 3 after hearing all the good comments from friends. Just started using the Chrome Cast -- which I thought was heaven sent but then Roku 3 came along and WOW...what a convenient and technologically brilliant piece of work. RARELY watch television and DirecTV anymore.....have Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and many more channels that I haven't even discovered yet. Great work Roku!
