Lots of choices & still learning

Many channels to choose from. Especially helpful if you have a Netflix and/or Amazon Prime account or even Hulu. Still looking for a free way to stream my computer browser to the Roku then will be complete.

Easy to use, but cannot get full use out of it

I received my Roku as a gift for Christmas and love all that I can do with it. I enjoy using it for Pandora, but the main reason I wanted to a Roku was to watch shows using the Dramafever app. The bad part is that Roku seems to have problems streaming shows that use subtitles and will just stop the subtitles every 5 minutes or so and the system doesn't let me do anything other then press the home button and from there I can restart my show...but every 5 minutes get really annoying so half the time I still just watch from my computer. This is already a known issue but it seems like the Roku team cannot figure it out as it has been known for a long time already.
So if you are using your Roku for anything but subtitled shows then this is a great product. If you want to watch a subtitled video, wait until the Roku team fixes the issues first before buying.

Easy and saves $$$

we love our Roku -- it is easy to use and saves us $$$ each month from not paying for cable -- We have much more control over what our family views and can enjoy shows with our children that we watched growing up on Netflix w the Roku.

Good little system, needs some updates

I bought this product about a year ago, and had very few issues with it. It was quick and snappy. Now, over a year later, I have ocassional issues with freezing to the effect of having to restart the roku entirely. I very much wish there was an option to turn the roku off, as it gets quite warm whilst sitting on 24/7. Overall it's a good, portable, little entertainment box that had provides hours of fun, but it's now being replaced by my new Xbox 1.

Roku box has been a great addition with all the great channels plus games and now the ability to share my computer screen its all around great investment.

I've had the Roku 3 for a month and I'm totally satisfied. It was as easy to set up as most have said and I've been enjoying it since. I'm not much of a gamer but I enjoy movies and certain TV fare. It's been a wonderful addition to my entertainment needs.
