I have been using Roku for approx. 3 yrs. This is my second. Roku has listened to their customers by making adjustments to the products, i.e. the home screen is easy to navigate. all channels are visible from home screen and can be moved if desired. Speed is acceptable but Amazon Fire is faster (think they should keep up with market trend in this regard). Remote with headphones is the best thing for customers who use in their BR. There are 2 things I hope to see happen. 1 - An option be given to customer with older units faster speed. 2 - For channels like HBO etc., customers may not have accounts with cable companies (then why would we need Roku), there should be a way to subscribe. Despite my personal requisites, overall product is great.

I read reviews before I bought the Roku 3 and many talked about how easy it is to use! They were absolutely right. It's small, has great streaming and a remote that is easy to use.

When we first started using the Roku player it was great. After about two weeks it started freezing up on us. This gets annoying when you have a two year old that wants to watch his shows and the machine freezes up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great to cancel cable. This is a money saver. Unable get local channels, but can get all the news via internet. Easy to install.

Problem with headpones

I bought a ROKU 3. For my wife for Christmas. The main reason I purchased the 3 was for the headphones. Love the picture quality but terrible sound with headphones and sometimes no sound at all, or crackling so bad you miss what is being said. I tried Bose headphones and no difference. Must be in the plug in area. Just returned and picked up second one and will see if any different.
