Great, easy to use

My Roku 3 has been great for the first nine months. Easy to set-up, easy to use. Lately, I've been having daily complications with it staying connected to the wireless internet, causing me to reset my wireless router so it can attempt to reconnect. All in all, it's been great, but small complications are causing me to set it aside and not be able to use it as much as I want. Don't stray away from it, though. It's has been a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Earphone jack on remote is superb idea!

This new Roku 3 in our bedroom works even better than our original Roku in the living room. And the earphone jack on the remote is superb idea! We use it whenever one of us wants to read. It's a marriage saver!

Easy to hook up and use

I enjoy streaming channels and choosing what I want to watch and when. It works out I can see just what I want, when I want. Easy to use and set up. Headphones on the controller are pure genius. Really...watching what you want without disturbing anyone else is a great feature. I can stream with other devices, but this is portable and cost effective.

Great Variety in programs.

My kids bought Roku 3 for me on my 73 birthday -- I set it up myself even though I have an older model TV that was built, like me, well before the 'Everything Ready' on demand of today.
Yesterday I cancelled my cable TV service because I can watch whatever I want whenever I want to. And, oh, how wonderful to see a news program without those annoying pharmaceutical ads.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wide selection of free programming (and paid too)

We purchased Roku3 because we became fed up with the cost of cable TV and the lack of programming WE wanted to watch. Rook is delivering on its promise of program delivery.

Recently acquired the Roku version 3 in order to improve the entertainment at home. Easy to setup, comprehensible menu, variety of free television programming but mostly good price. The technology Roku does not conflict with the technology already acquired and in use at home but will complement and add value.

My sister kept telling me to stop plugging my laptop into my big screen TV and I finally listened. This tiny box is so easy to navigate through and find all your apps you use for streaming on your smaller devices in one place. It's fast too, my Netflix and Amazon Prime start right up. I love the search feature where you can type in a show or movie and it searches all your apps! Best investment for streaming. I hardly ever watch network TV anymore.
