Overall Good Performance

The unit works very well overall. The only problem I've noticed is while watching CBS news. Very often the program repeats fragments of news item. Generally for 10 to 20 seconds.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than a smart tv

Store bought smart tv's have only a few channels, Roku has the user's choice of hundreds of channels. Rarely have problems with freeze frames or blurry frames ... once or twice ... used it for a month almost daily, many times, many different channels. Only problem is spending too much time watching tv ... beware!

I bought this in the hope that I could get something better then an Apple TV (I already have 2 ATVs and was hoping to get away from their ecosystem)

wow,in just 30 days i saved money without cable,i just bought it and i love it,i watch a lot of movies every week for free.

I love this thing. It's so much cheeper than cable plus I can watch youtube vids on it. Its excellent. The only thing I'd like to see in the future is a web browser so that I can watch stuff from sites that don't have a channel.
