The Roku 3 player is the best. Is it perfect? No, but it is still a wonderful product. What would make it better? The option to use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. My wife and I use ours much more than we thought we would. Picture quality with 3 Mb bandwidth has been wonderful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had my Roku 3 about three weeks and I have not had a bit of trouble with it Great for just about anything you want for Movies or TV and watch all the old movies we grow up with on TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my Roku 3 about a month and a half ago as a way to bring Netflix into my bedroom. Not only do I now have that, but also Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, iHeart Radio and Pandora, but I also was able to download the Time Warner Cable app and watch streaming live cable! One of the best entertainment values out there!!

We got it to stream videos from internet.It does that well.There are other channels offered , but you have to have a provider to watch them. Not much on the "Free Apps " I don't know if I would have spent the extra fro the 3.A little disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
