What's not to love?

I have almost replaced the TV Cable by using Roku. I turned off all but Real time Fox News, and some local channels since I no longer worry about missing a TV show. I can catch all the ones I didn't see on Roku when I want, and watch from a list of thousands of movies when I want. Special Channels I didn't even know existed delight everyone in the Family, plus every sport known to man is there to view. I love this Control.
Pros: Endless Entertainment, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Choosing What To Watch

I don't use this product. I returned it and got my money back. It did not give me anything that I can already get on Direct TV's online features.
Pros: Fast Setup

I would have purchased this much sooner if I had known what I was getting. Very fast, nice clean interface and supports channels that the older Roku models do not (Amazon Cloud Player, Vudu, etc). I'm very pleased with the purchase. There is no analog sound out but this will only be a concern for those that do not do their audio through an HDMI receiver (or from their TV digital out to receiver) so this is hardly a problem. I'm very pleased with my upgrade. Movie titles load much faster and streaming is also much faster. I always thought it was a bandwidth limitation, but it's not. It's the Roku processor that determines how fast a movie loads. Imagine that? Have an older Roku that you already love? Buy this and you will be amazed at the difference.

Misleading and not compatible with much

My internet provider allows access to ESPN 3 streaming online. Free Hulu (not Plus) is also available online. But neither is accessible ON ROKU -- how technologically flawed is that? Why the heck do I want this if I can't even get the stuff I get free on the laptop (which I can connect with HDMI)? I thought the interface would make it easier, but the Netflix interface, for example, is HORRIBLE! -- you can barely read the descriptions the print is so small. Bad, bad, design. Waste of money.

Keep stopping Streaming!

I have a great wifi setting in my house, but no metter how big is the file, the device keep sopping playing for loading a video.

GREAT MOVIES AND MUSIC

The set-up is easy and for a non TV person it provides the choice of news and business updates I want. I had issues with the M-Go free movie offers. The M-Go movies froze up the ROKU which required a re-set. It kept restarting and it troublesome! They still have not corrected the problem.
The remote needs a lot of improvement: The dark color is VERY difficult for a sight impaired person. The size and shape of it as well as placement of the controls are not configured ergonomically. I recommend an off white device with colored buttons. The buttons should have a little space between them. The shape should be slightly wider and flat on the bottom with finger indentations on the side for easy gripping.
DSL causes starts and stops with some programs.
Overall I am appreciative of relief from the cable charges. I really LOVE the Movies! I really love the Pandora MUSIC which plays all day. GO FOR IT!
