The Roku beats all others!

The Roku is the best one out there. I've tried Apple tv to link with my ipad and thats about all its good for. The Roku has ton's of channels and seems to be adding more all the time. Make sure that your internet is fast though before purchasing the Roku or your going to have fuzzy picture quality. This is the only negative I would give Roku. it doesn't seem to buffer good enough to get a good quality picture if your internet is a little slow.

We Just Love it!

What an awesome little device. I have access to a lot of shows and movies that I had totally forgotten about and would not have been able to see otherwise. I like the fact I can add the channels I am interested in, while previewing others. I prefer the pay as you go for other channels, movies, or TV programming as opposed to paying for a lot of programming I have no interest in what so ever. The Roku has a lot more channels than my Smart TV so I would not rely on just a Smart TV, gaming device, or Blu-ray player for streaming media. Roku is the only way to go!

Roku helping me get ready to cut the cord on cable

When I set up cable at my new address I skipped adding the premium channels because I can get almost everything using channels available on Roku. I have HBO and Showtime at my main home so I can use HBO Go and Showtime Anytime and not have to pay twice. Since I usually record everything and watch it later, not being able to see something first run isn't a problem.

I bought a second one for the bedroom, no more directv bills and you can always find something to watch. I would recommend adding Netflix and Hulu+

SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN APPLE TV

I own an Apple TV and did for months. While nice, once I got Roku, it was an entirely better experience. With way more to choose from, it accommodated the things I like to watch. It also includes Amazon Prime and Vudu which Apple TV does not. Now, I am able to access the video libraries I have on both of those services.
EASY to set up. Takes only a couple of minutes. Plug it in. Plug the HDMI in. Plug the Internet in. Go.
